How to Play, The English FA DNA

Galmington Dragons aim to advance amateur sport and promote community participation in healthy recreation through the provision of sports coaching and access to facilities for footballers from U6 - U16 in and around the Taunton area. Any child regardless of footballing ability is welcome to come and train. The Dragons provide a fun and friendly platform for children to develop under the the FA DNA's structured platform of mini football (Foundation) U7-U10, youth football U11 - U18 and adult football.

If you want yourself or your child to join the Galmington Dragons please click on any of the play buttons across the website and register as a adult/parent. Once registered as a parent log in and register your child via the "Register Player" link.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much will I have to pay to play for the Galmington Dragons and how do i pay?

Subscription fees are collected annually at £85 for Mini soccer and £120 for Youth and Men's. The club provide jerseys but as part of the kit procurement deal ask players to purchase club shorts and socks from Taunton Uniforms at a value of £7.25 and £4.50 respectively. Subs are due by 30th September payments via bank transfer to:

What kit will my child need to play?

Players will need at a minimum correct footwear and shin pads in order to play in competative matches. Footwear varies from surface to surface. Your child will need soft surface or grass football boots for matches and may need either astro or indoor trainers for training depending on the age group mid week training. Although not essential we advise that parents purchase wet and cold weather gear for the winter months in the form of under layers and jackets. All are aviailbe via our club supplier Taunton Uniforms.
